MTI is Now Offering Evening Nursing Assistant Classes

At MTI, we recognize the importance and the challenge of prioritizing your career goals among work, family, and other life responsibilities.

To help provide more flexibility, MTI is now offering evening classes for the Basic Nursing Assistant Course at the East Peoria, IL campus!

Now, you can finish your training to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in just 7 weeks through an evening schedule that gives you more flexibility during your day.

Class hours are 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

“Evening classes provide students an opportunity to pursue their career goals on a schedule that works for them. We know finding time to finish your education can be challenging, but we also know that learning a new skill can change your life. Our goal is to help accommodate students who want to pursue CNA training, but who also need to maintain work and life balance,” said Cole Huff, Campus President of MTI East Peoria.

The Basic Nursing Assistant Course is a 7-week course that prepares you to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA) through hands-on training. You’ll learn the skills you need to work as a nursing assistant within several environments, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies.

MTI’s Basic Nursing Assistant Course prepares you to take the certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
