Midwest Technical Institute is a Military and Veteran-Friendly Vocational School
Midwest Technical Institute knows the value of the skills veterans learn during military service and how well they translate into the civilian workplace. Midwest Technical Institute has earned the 2018-19 Military Friendly® School designation. MTI also participates in the Principles of Excellence Program.
Veterans possess transferable skills that complement the hands-on training required for MTI’s skilled trades vocational programs, including welding, HVAC/R-MAR and commercial truck driving. MTI values veterans’ real-world experience, leadership, teamwork, attention-to-detail and integrity.
Veterans can learn a vocational skill through any of MTI’s mechanical trades, allied health, cosmetology or professional truck driving programs utilizing GI Bill®s like the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and the Montgomery GI Bill® (MGIB).
