The school will cease all operations April 25, according to several Davenport-area media outlets, a decision that is said to be attributed to low enrollment numbers at the school’s Davenport campus.
MTI admissions representatives are available to field phone calls and other inquiries from former Paul Mitchell students interesting in continuing their education as a member of the MTI family.
MTI’s School of Cosmetology offers a 1500 and 2100 hour program to provide students the hands-on training necessary to enter the workforce – job placement and financial aid opportunities are also available to qualifying students. In addition, the MTI School of Cosmetology also houses MTI’s Student Salon wherein students gain the real-world, salon experience required to secure entry-level employment in the cosmetology field and mature into industry-leading professionals. The scholarship can also be combined with a two-thirds tuition reimbursement offer from Deere to those who seek additional training or education at a school like MTI in order to acquire the skills and training necessary to secure alternative employment.
Students must successfully complete one of MTI’s courses and programs in the mechanical trade, allied health, transportation and cosmetology career fields to be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship opportunity. Read More

mrWF/MTI Scholarship Program
The mikeroweWORKS Foundation and Midwest Technical Institute are now accepting submissions for the 2014-2015 mrWF/MTI Scholarship! The scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors for the 2014-2015 academic year and awards seven 100 percent tuition-paid scholarships at each of MTI's seven campus locations throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta regions.

Midwest Technical Institute is proud to announce submissions are currently being accepted for the second annual MTI High School Grant Program!
The program is open to eligible high schools and career and vocational centers to assist in thepurchasing of equipment, renovating shops and labs and obtaining the necessary resources for classroom instruction. Schools and career centers can submit materials for consideration through March 29, 2015 and winners will be announced on or about May 6.

The MTI $1,000 Senior Scholarship Program was established during the 2013-2014 academic year to assist graduating high school seniors in securing the hands-on, workforce training necessary to succeed in today’s competitive job market. This year’s program is once again open to graduating seniors during the 2014-2015 academic year. Students must complete all application materials, including a FAFSA application, no later than July 1, 2015 to be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship.
