Midwest Technical Institute is Here to Help Students Affected by Vatterott Closure

Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) is here to assist Vatterott College students in continuing their education after Vatterott’s closing. MTI is a vocational college nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). MTI offers a variety of programs in the allied health, mechanical trades, truck driving and cosmetology field.

MTI has helped many students across all six of our campus locations who found themselves in similar situations when an institution suddenly ceased operation. MTI worked closely with those schools to assist any displaced students we could. MTI has been in contact with Vatterott and is working to provide the same support to displaced students in the Springfield, MO area.

Vatterott College students interested in transferring are welcome to visit MTI’s Springfield, MO campus located at 3600 S. Glenstone Outer Road to meet with the Admissions Team. All credits will be evaluated and considered for transfer into the program of study. Walk-ins are welcome Monday-Friday, or students can call (417) 227-4950 to setup an appointment.

MTI offers financial aid and career placement assistance to those who qualify. MTI’s Admissions and Financial Aid Teams are available to answer students’ questions about our programs, the enrollment process, transfer credit and financial aid.
