Midwest Technical Institute is Here to Help Students Affected by Midstate College Closure

Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) is here to assist Midstate College students in continuing their education after Midstate’s closing. MTI is a vocational college nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). MTI offers a variety of programs in the allied health and mechanical trades field.

MTI has helped many students across all six of our campus locations who found themselves in similar situations when an institution suddenly ceased operation. MTI worked closely with those schools to assist any displaced students we could. MTI has reached out to Midstate College and is working to provide the same support to displaced students in the Peoria, IL area.

Midstate College students interested in transferring are welcome to visit MTI’s East Peoria, IL campus located at 280 High Point Lane to meet with the Admissions Team. All credits will be evaluated and considered for transfer into the program of study. Walk-ins are welcome Monday-Friday, or students can call (309) 427-2750 to setup an appointment.

MTI offers financial aid and career placement assistance to those who qualify. MTI’s Admissions and Financial Aid Teams are available to answer students’ questions about our programs, the enrollment process, transfer credit and financial aid.
