Learn & Explore at MTI’s Hands-On Career Training Event

Learn and Explore Night

Are you ready for a change? Thinking about switching careers or learning a new skill?

Join Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) on Thursday, August 25th (except the Springfield, IL campus which will be on Tuesday, August 23rd) at 5:00 p.m. for an interactive, informative experience on campus!

At Learn & Explore Night, you will:

  • Learn more about MTI — who we are, what we do, and why we do it!
  • Explore MTI’s labs and get hands-on experience and live demonstrations.

Learn & Explore Night is open to anyone—whether you’ve visited MTI’s campus before or you’ve never heard of us!

You can explore any program you’re interested in, including:

  • Welding
  • HVAC/R
  • Medical Assisting
  • Dental Assisting
  • Truck Driving
  • Cosmetology

We’ll break you into small groups so you can get a hands-on experience in the program of your choice, led by MTI’s experienced and engaging instructors.

Then, MTI’s friendly Admissions Team will share what makes MTI different and how you can take the next step toward an exciting new career path. Food and beverages will be provided!

You’ll learn about the support MTI offers our students, including:

  • Career placement assistance to help qualifying students find a job in their field of study after graduation.
  • Smaller class sizes led by instructors with real-world experience in the industry.
  • Shorter training programs with no Gen Ed courses or prerequisites required. Most of MTI’s programs can be completed in less than a year.
  • Student Success Specialists who are dedicated to assisting you with finding transportation, daycare, housing, and free tutoring.
  • Computer Labs and Learning Resource Centers available to students during campus hours to study, write resumes, use the internet, etc.
  • Team of Instructors, Program Directors and Placement Coordinators who will be involved throughout your time at MTI to help you stay on the path to success.
  • Enrollment & Financial Aid Representatives who will be available to answer any questions about the enrollment process and help you get started (even on the FAFSA process!)

Learn & Explore Night is a great opportunity to find out all that MTI has to offer, so join us!
