In an effort to expand its presence in Illinois, Midwest Technical Institute saw itself once again branching out and opening the doors to a new facility in the Quad Cities. Our Moline, IL campus opened in May 2011, welcoming 24 students into the Welding and Welding & Pipefitting Programs.
Later that same month, HVAC/R Technician (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration), Medical Assisting and Dental Assisting Programs were added. A Pharmacy Technician Program was added to the Moline campus in January 2012 and Cosmetology followed in January 2013.
Midwest Technical Institute is a year-round trade school providing hands-on training in career fields where job growth is expected. MTI offers a diverse mix of mechanical trades, allied health and cosmetology programs and courses. At MTI, our mission is to provide graduates with the skills necessary to gain entry-level employment in their chosen field.
